Terms of service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Nutrio, an AI meal-planning app and related services (the "Service") operated by Nutrio ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use Nutrio.

Who can use Nutrio

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Nutrio, and old enough to form a binding contract. If you use Nutrio on behalf of a household, you're responsible for the activity of members you invite.

Your account & household

You sign in with an email address, Apple, or Google account, and you're responsible for keeping your login secure. Nutrio organizes plans around a "household" that can include up to two members who share the same meal plans, grocery lists, and (if active) premium access. You may leave or remove members at any time from Settings.

Subscriptions & billing

Nutrio is free to use with limits (for example, a capped number of meal swaps per week and a limited number of Cook Mode sessions). Nutrio Premium unlocks unlimited meal swaps and unlimited Cook Mode, and is offered as an auto-renewable subscription:

• Annual — $59.99/year

Subscriptions are sold and processed through the Apple App Store, and payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency and may vary by region and change over time.

You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID → Subscriptions settings, or via Settings → Subscription → Manage in the app. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep premium access until the end of the period you already paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store's policies — we can't issue App Store refunds directly.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the Service or attempt to access data belonging to other households. Don't scrape or extract recipes at volume, resell the Service, reverse-engineer how Nutrio generates plans, or use Nutrio to break the law. We may suspend or terminate accounts engaged in abuse.

Recipes, meal plans & health disclaimer

Nutrio's recipes, meal plans, and nutrition information are generated automatically using AI and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccurate nutritional estimates. Always check ingredients for allergens and verify that meals suit your dietary needs before cooking or eating. Nutrio is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. Consult a qualified professional for any health condition, allergy, pregnancy, or special diet. You use the recipes and plans at your own risk.

Intellectual property & your content

Nutrio and its software, branding, and design are owned by us. The preferences and information you enter remain yours; you grant us the limited license needed to operate the Service (for example, to generate and store your plans). Meal plans and recipes generated for you are provided for your personal, non-commercial household use.

Account termination & deletion

You may delete your account and associated data at any time from Settings → Account; deletion is self-service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. If your household's subscription is active, deleting your account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription — cancel it in your Apple ID settings to stop future charges.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on automatically generated recipes, plans, or nutrition information.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of Nutrio after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of your primary place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
